Fuzzy PID Control of Nonlinear Vibration Isolator with Parallel Electromagnetic Negative Stiffness

Abstract A fuzzy PID control strategy for quasi-zero stiffness (QZS) isolator which connects the pneumatic spring (PS) and electromagnetic negative mechanism (ENSM) in parallel to suppress low-frequency vibration is proposed this paper. First, restoring force of PS ENSM are derived. Secondly, static analysis isolation system carried out, analytical expressions obtained. The possibility reaching QZS state explained. Then, obtain a better effect, optimal current coil found according designed strategy. Finally, simulation result shows that frequency band under widened, performance reaches more than 85% different excitation frequencies. Control effect better.
